River Island is a 880 acre conservation community on the banks of the Savannah River. Residents can enjoy community boat docks equipped with kayaks and hike its miles of nature trails. River Island boast its own naturalist and activities coordinator. Some lots are right on the Savannah River. The community clubhouse overlooks the river and has an outdoor fire.
